ABOUT THE GURU
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Bo Miles taught himself piano at age fifteen. He recieved his first fomal jazz training at West Virginia State University in WV. There, he began his professional jazz career, including a long association with drummer and fellow student Jamie Patterson. Bo went on to engolf himself in jazz studies from Bob Thompson and other great local players, and also taught several jazz musicians there. While at WVSU, he spent five years under the tutelage of renowned classical pianist Charlotte Giles. Bo has worked in and around Charleston, WV with a wide variety of musical artists, and from 2004-2006 he co-led the quartet
